Argentina Group Trip 2026 -
Travel Insurance Requirements

Your safety and peace of mind matter to us. Travel is one of life's best adventures, but unexpected things can happen, and we want you to feel fully covered if they do. If you have any questions about what to look for, just reach out, we're happy to help.

Requirements

Your travel insurance plan must cover:

  • Personal injury and medical expenses

  • Emergency evacuation expenses

Please note: insurance provided through your credit card typically does not meet these requirements, as it often excludes the coverage above or includes exclusions that limit it significantly. Credit card insurance will not be accepted as proof of coverage.

You are responsible for reviewing your policy in full to confirm it covers the activities included in the itinerary (including optional activities), and that no exclusion clauses limit your coverage.

Recommendations

While not required, we recommend considering:

  • Coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, and for lost or stolen personal property

  • Coverage in case you become ill and need to quarantine or delay your return, for any illness, including COVID-19

  • "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) coverage, especially if your schedule is unpredictable or you think there's a chance you might need to cancel last-minute. Our own cancellation policy has firm deadlines, so CFAR can give you extra flexibility beyond what we're able to offer

  • Coverage for hiking or trekking activities, if you'd like extra peace of mind for the three short hikes included in the itinerary (most standard policies will cover these, but it's worth double-checking if you want to be sure)

When to Buy

We recommend getting your travel insurance as soon as you book your trip. Many providers only offer certain types of coverage, like Cancel for Any Reason, within a limited window after your initial booking, so buying early gives you access to the widest range of options.
