Argentina isn’t famous for being vegan friendly...
and that’s exactly what makes discovering its plant-based side so special!
Behind the classic steakhouses and tourist spots, there’s an incredibly passionate vegan community, amazing plant based food, and some truly unforgettable hidden gems.
Having a local vegan with you makes all the difference. I lived in Buenos Aires for 5 years and grew up in Bariloche, so throughout this trip I’ll be taking you to the places, viewpoints, restaurants, and experiences that most travelers completely miss.

Frequently asked questions
How active is the trip, do I need to be fit?
Not really. The hikes we’ll do are quite short, usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour, and we’ll take them slowly so you can enjoy the landscapes as we go. There are always easier options too, so nothing feels forced. At Cerro Campanario there’s a chairlift available if you prefer not to hike (not included). On another day, the hike starts at a stunning lake where you can simply relax if you don’t want to continue, and the waterfall is just a short walk away, so you can still enjoy that part and skip the rest if you prefer.
What will we be eating when meals are not included?
Some meals are not included so everyone has the freedom to choose whatever they feel like from the menu. Still, we’ll always go together as a group to the restaurants, so you’ll never have to worry about where to eat. It’s just a relaxed setup where everyone pays for their own meals and enjoys at their own pace.
Is Argentina safe?
Yes. Like in most big cities, it’s just about being aware of your surroundings, especially in touristy areas where pickpockets can sometimes happen. That said, most of our itinerary happens during the day, and in December it stays light quite late. You’ll always be with me or a local guide, so you’ll never be navigating anything alone.
Do I have to be vegan?
Not at all. We often have non vegan travelers joining too, whether they’re vegetarian, pescetarian, eat less meat for personal reasons, or simply want to experience the trip. Everyone is welcome. The only thing to keep in mind is that all the food on the trip is fully vegan, so you’ll need to be comfortable eating plant based during the journey.
What if I have additional dietary restrictions?
All meals on the trip are 100% vegan, but we know other dietary needs can come into play too. If you have allergies or specific restrictions, just reach out to us at xxx@xxx.com so we can check what’s possible. Please note that at the moment we unfortunately can’t accommodate gluten allergies.
I’m coming on my own, is that okay?
Most people do. It’s a very common way to join this trip. By the second day, it won’t feel like you arrived alone anymore, and in most cases people leave with real friendships that last long after the trip ends.
How do room assignments work?
In Buenos Aires, rooms are shared with one other person of the same gender unless you choose to upgrade to a private room. In Bariloche, accommodation is in a shared lake house, so rooms will be shared between two people since there aren’t enough rooms for single occupancy. If you’re traveling with a friend or partner, just let me know and we’ll make sure you’re roomed together.
